Abstract:

The problem statement. To determine the role and place of the «flexible algorithm» in the Network [8, 9], in a separate «autonomous system» (AС/AS, Fig. 1), by applying different theories; logical (and reverse logical) modeling; application of topologies, numerical dimensions using the example of choosing the metrics of the best path by the «flexible algorithm» in the Network).

The problem is related to determining what a flexible algorithm provides and improves in a given system: what it is needed for; what functions it has; and what standards it operates on.

«Network» in the context of the company Cisco [8] is interconnected with the work of individual tools/solutions, interconnected devices, network equipment, software, various solutions for: construction, management, protection: types, components, architectural models, – Network(s) (for example: the Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA) includes: tools, functions; hardware and software solutions).

The problem of the role and place of «flexible algorithms» in Science is presented and demonstrated; using the example of the field of scientific knowledge of Translational (information and communication) technologies (TICT); the work of digital solutions/tools [8, 9] is shown, including routing protocols and «flexible algorithm(s)» in their composition; the work of the solution is separately demonstrated using the example of the Cisco company [8], this is done to achieve the goals in the field of scientific knowledge of Information-measuring and Control Systems (IMCS).

The problem has been expanded: different disparate data, non-identical by genus, diverse data based on «heterogeneity» [28] in connection with «semiotics» [29] in solving «classification» tasks to provision «flexibility» (Fig. 1, 4) when: choosing different data sets and referring to different contexts: systemic and digital.

The purpose.

In the Network, as a field of scientific knowledge, fixed several purposes: 1) developing an understanding of individual operating principles for each element (for example, protocols: Exterior Gateway Protocol (EGP), Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP), and the «flexible algorithm», Fig. 1, 2; Tab. 1); 2) liquidation of volumes of lack of knowledge and creation of new knowledge (Fig. 1, 2; 4).

For Flexible methods of project management (FPMM), as a field of scientific knowledge, the purpose is fixed: when referring an interdisciplinary approach, demonstrate the volume of work in developing a flexible algorithm(s) for FPMM, based on standards/guidelines and functions, when implementing them in work (Fig. 4) and the relationship of several areas of scientific knowledge (Network; FPMM) when developing a separate engineering solution/tool, for example, for IMCS (for example: Fig. 4; Network, FPMM).

The results. In the research, using the example of using different theories in several areas of scientific knowledge, as well as referring to different: methodologies, mechanics, methods and an interdisciplinary approach, revealed conceptual issues of the development and use of FPMM in modeling problems (for example: logical) complex information- measurement and control systems.

An example of the implementation of works when choosing the mechanics of «multiple iterations» of the FPMM is given; as well as an example of the choice of metrics of the best path by a «flexible algorithm» in the Network.

An example of the implementation of works when choosing of the mechanics of «multiple iterations» of the FPMM is given; as well as an example of the choice of metrics of the best path by a «flexible algorithm» in the Network.

The stage of (reverse) logical modeling has been completed and promising horizons for the development of the topic in several fields of scientific knowledge are established (for example: FPMM; Network; IMCS; methodology; metrology; standardization).

The described results are presented within the framework of: 1) an example of the «flexible algorithm» operation in the Network using the example topology(s); the following is shown: a) the selection of best-path metrics by the Flexible Algorithm; numerical dimension. (sub)levels of systems(s), hierarchical (co)subordination of (sub)sets and in (sub)sets; b) the «initial values» (of the EGP and IGP protocols) are examined and an example of ensuring «transport characteristics» is given; c) the operation of the routing protocols (EGP, IGP) and the «flexible algorithm» is demonstrated based on the basic operating diagram (Fig. 1); d) the executable functions (EGP, IGP, flexible algorithm) are shown: identification, filtering, visualization; е) the logical modeling stage: reverse logical modeling (reverse engineering).

2) an example of how a flexible algorithm works (for example: «The ability to visualize Flexible Algorithm topologies provides an important tool to help you deploy, maintain, and verify that the configured Flexible Algorithm intent is realized in your network.» [8]); also, analytics in the field of machine learning (ML) and the application of ML sections for space research are presented, a justification for the application is given, and relevant works are [13–25; 28; 31–34]; it has been proven that the flexible algorithm is able to perform functions within the framework of «self-learning» and «enrichment» tasks [28] (for example: «he goal is to enrich the dataset with a higher number of samples» [28]) of the system with new «high-quality and related» data and knowledge, through «search» [8]; 3) data visualization: a technical description of the individual capabilities of the «flexible algorithm» [8] for the Network is given (Fig.1, 4); a logical description of the capabilities of the «flexible algorithm» (Fig.4; sources [6, 7] for the FPMM); 4) methodological application of modeling: a) the technical characteristics (EGP, IGP) are reflected: maximum: reliability; delay; bandwidth/ bandwidth of a channel; at a minimum: monetary cost, which are necessary for: developing a topology configuration (for example: for operation of different protocols in the Network, and not just EGP, IGP); b) (for modeling) the use of: «heterogeneity»; «heterogeneity of a separately studied system and/or environment»; «semiotics»; «context»; «data visualization by flexible algorithm»; «refinements and specifications» for «qualitative and related/linked data»; «interdisciplinary approach» is reflected; 5) the use of topologies, the basic elementary composition of mathematical logic formulas for the mechanics of «multiple iterations» of the FPMM was developed.

The practical significance. An accurate representation and explanation of the: operation of EGP, IGP, flexible algorithm protocols, and transport characteristics, are given.

Individual tools/solutions developed and implemented «based on a flexible algorithm that are capable of visualizing a subset of the network and providing a specific set of transport characteristics» [8] are presented The ratio of complexity/amount of work in creating flexible FPMM algorithms for IMCS purposes is demonstrated.
