Abstract:

A three-axis magnetometer measurement error model, including nine calibration parameters is considered, a quadratic form and an equivalent 2-power function of three-variable is composed. Least square method and eigen-values and eigen-vectors method applications for problem solving of sensor calibration parameter computation with redundant amount of information. are examined. Derived formulas for computation of calibration data evaluator. An algorithm is proposed to improve accuracy of the solution that task. Numerical simulation showed that the proposed method enables to determine calibration parameters precisely.
