Abstract:

The article considers solution of the excitation problem of a planar slot spiral antenna with a layered cover and a layered substrate on the basis of the integral equation method. For magnetic current of a layered structure the construction of the elements of the tensor Green's function which determine the kernel of the integral equation has been given. In the quasistatic approximation the excitation field of the spiral has been determined and the problem is reversed to the Fredholm integral equation of the first kind for magnetic current of the spiral. By numerical solution of the integral equation an algorithm is used that realizes the principle of selfregularization. An example of frequency properties calculation of a broadband logarithmical slot spiral with a layered cover and a layered loaded substrate using the considered technique has been proposed, as well as influence of the spiral topology and parameters of a layered structure on its properties has been shown.
