Abstract:

The sharp increase in the role of distance learning methods, especially in the context of the challenges posed by the covid-19 pandemic, has increased the relevance and necessity of mass use of LMS MOODLE and analogues, as well as the rapid mastery of these products by a large number of academics.

Objective – to develop a toolkit for mass training (self-learning) of academics to work in the MOODLE environment.

A specially designed environment using the Open Server platform allows, unlike the traditional method, training (self-training) an almost unlimited number of academics to work with MOODLE on local computers or in local computer classrooms, i.e. without using the university server and the associated overloads and additional errors in its work. The possibility of using the local version of MOODLE in combination with the University Electronic Learning System, which significantly increases the efficiency of the academic's work, is shown.

The developed tools can be easily scaled and used to improve the efficiency and quality of distance learning in higher education institutions.
