The decrease in the weight and size indicators of electronics, radio engineering and optoelectronics products, as well as gliders, has led to a significant increase in the areas of use of non-aerodrome-based aircraft. One of such areas of application may be the area of obtaining information about the air situation in the interests of command posts of military air defense.
Purpose of the work is to propose a performance indicator for the Mobile Information Group (MIG).
The article offers an indicator of the effectiveness of intelligence systems, taking into account the heterogeneous features of the geoinformation situation. At the same time, the named system may consist of one or n reconnaissance means: radar, radio engineering, acoustic, optoelectronic, etc., which have the ability to change their position near the Earth's surface.
The proposed indicator is sensitive to the technical characteristics of the radar, to the influence of the earth's surface on the beam accessibility of the considered area of space, to the relative position of the radar and the information discrete, the proposed location of air targets in the raid, degree, etc. By integrating this indicator by volume, it is possible to evaluate the effectiveness of the system reconnaissance and airspace control at the current time, and integrating over time – to determine the effectiveness of the use of MIGs in the course of a combat operation.
