This article highlights one of the main problems of the transition from paper workflow to electronic – the processes of coordination, approval, verification. The purpose of this publication is the analysis and concretization of this problem, as well as the theoretical presentation of solution methods. At the beginning of the article, the author addresses the problem of the lack of regular user authorization in enterprise information systems. The average document flows that determine the sources of electronic information are given. The solution to the problem is two areas: user authorization and verification of user actions. The result of this article is the proposal of methods to increase the efficiency of electronic document management by using the means of protection of the used document flows in information systems.
Formulation of the problem. The transition to electronic document management systems entails exorbitant difficulties for both employees and production in general. The established principles of working with documents are changing, being transformed. So, for a paper document, which is being amended, it was necessary to collect the nth number of signatures on their feet, which could take a fairly large amount of time, then with the advent of electronic document management, the approval process turns into a «couple of clicks» from each participant. But in such cases, the problem of delimiting actions arises for users who have the ability to coordinate, approve, change electronic documents.
Goal. To specify one of the important problems arising in the transition from paperwork to electronic. Consider possible ways to address the issue of protecting business processes and electronic documents used in enterprise information systems. Determine the best ways to solve this problem.
Results. Analyzed and concretized is one of the problems of the process of transition from paper workflow to electronic. Two methods for solving the problem are defined. Methods are proposed that ensure the reliability and security of documents both when translating them into electronic form, and during subsequent user interaction with them.
Practical significance. Practical implementation of the proposed methods will ensure the integrity and safety of documents used in information systems (IS), as well as increase the efficiency of their use.
