Abstract:
This paper is devoted to the problem of modeling ionospheric electron-density profile with random inhomogeneous. On the basis of apparatus spectral orthogonal expansions of random functions we consider the problem of modeling a randomly in-homogeneous component of the one-dimensional profile of the ionospheric electron density. Chosen method of expansion and the assumption that the random field fluctuations electron concentration is normal and stationary proposed autocorrelation functions for different regions of the equatorial ionosphere. The main result of this paper is modeling methodic providing series terms minimization based on period of expansion choice and au-tocorrelation function form.
