The application of digital processing methods to the Doppler blood flow velocity sensor data for the diagnosis of cardiovascular system conditions is considered. Special attention in this work is given to the use of the autocorrelation method and the construction of phase portraits by Takkens for systems with different types of blood flow. We consider the difference between the received ACF of the signal and the scatterogram for the cases of normal, unaltered blood flow, and pathology. The features of coronary blood flow in the light of studied methods are discussed.
