Abstract:
A brief overview about the Moscow State Conserva-tory and its Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Musical Creativity is provided. It-s core research ob-jectives in music and genetics is discussed. The lat-est international collaboration with Benjamin Skep-per, who was the project of genetic music Ambassador at recent music projects presented at the 2016 Symmetry Festival in Vienna was introduced. The concept of genetic fractals as a new approach to scientific art was introduced. The article concludes by presenting bioinformatics as a leading field of scientific research in the emergent field of Art and Science collaborations.
