Abstract:
The report presents results of investigation of the cervix uteri of 135 women aged from 19 to 73 years. The aim of this research is to assess the capabilities of electrical impedance tomography in the diagnostics of the cervicitis and monitor the effectiveness of the treatment cervicitis. The methods of the research were: visual examination with the speculum, сervical cytologic smears, cervical and vaginal samples were collected to test for infection, а colposcopy examination and treatment cervicitis. Also the new method of visualization of the cervix uteri was used - electrical impedance tomography and were received the electrical conductivity of the cervix uteri in norm, cervicitis and after treatment cervicitis. Summary: the method of electrical impedance tomography allows not only visually estimate portio vaginalis, but receive indices of electrical conductivity of the cervix uteri on the depth up to 0.8 cm and thereby reveal pathological changes in epithelium and perform monitor the effectiveness of the treatment cervicitis.
