Information and communication technologies in the educational activities of the medical radioelectronics department in SUAI and scientific developments in communications systems for telemedicine

Abstract:
The article is about the professional training in the field of information and communication technologies and communication systems, as well as about the development of communication systems in the HF radio band including the development for the telemedicine. In «Introduction» - gives specialties and the course in which the Department of Medical Electronics in SUAI trains graduates in telecommunications. In «Information and communication technologies and communication systems in the curriculum of the department», discusses the content of the learning process in the telecommunications. Wide profile of the training is shown. It is also shown that the communications in the HF radio band can be basis for the development of the telemedicine for emergency situations. It is available to the students graduated from «Information and communication technologies and communications systems». In «Scientific development of communication systems for HF radio band» - presents the research results in the communication systems, aimed at developing and improving communication performance in the HF radio band. The research was carried out in three main directions: transmitter characteristic evaluation, noise immunity improvement and information transmission speed.
