In contemporary conditions, given the current international political landscape, the role of communication systems in command and control of military forces (units) has become significantly more critical – both in peacetime and during combat operations. Modern technologically advanced nations are actively developing specialized communication networks designed to safeguard national security and public order. The primary and priority direction for development should be the creation of a future-oriented special-purpose communication network. This network will ensure the establishment of a unified information and communications space, integrating command centers and management points while providing authorized personnel with the necessary information and communications services at the required quality level. These demands have driven the need to modernize tactical command-level communications systems – transitioning toward mobile adaptive networks capable of reliable operation in high-interference environments.
The objective of this work is to analyze and develop requirements for tactical control link communication systems based on mobile adaptive networks to improve the efficiency of troop (force) management.
This article presents an analysis of developing advanced communication tools based on mobile adaptive networks, and formulates a number of requirements for them.
Practical implementation of these models, in accordance with principles of economic efficiency and systemic compatibility with validated commercial solutions, will enable the creation of a cluster of combat models–serving as a tangible tool for supporting effective decision-making in troop command.
A number of technical requirements for advanced communication tools based on mobile adaptive networks of MANET technology are proposed, the creation of which will allow to form a modern technical basis for advanced and effective solutions for the management of troops at the tactical level.
