The article offers an alternative algorithm for evaluating the results of firing at ballistic targets, intended for use in simulation systems. The existing approach must ensure high accuracy and speed, which in a dynamically changing environment presents a nontrivial task. In this regard, a method based on the application of a neural network is proposed.
The aim of the study is to create an algorithm for evaluating the results of firing at ballistic targets using a neural network.
In order to achieve this goal, training data were generated using a special firing simulation algorithm. Based on these data, a neural network algorithm has been developed that allows evaluating the firing result with minimal time expenditure.
The proposed algorithm modelling has been performed. The practical significance of the proposed algorithm lies in the possibility of its integration into missile defense simulation systems for the rapid and accurate evaluation of firing results upon the completion of a combat episode.
