Аннотация:
Лекарственные растения являются неистощимым источником эффективных и безопасных биологически активных веществ. Они служат базой для разработки новых антимикробных лекарственных средств, для которых быстрое развитие к последним лекарственной резистентности микроорганизмов не характерно. Эти препараты отличаются от синтетических наличием противовоспалительных или других дополнительных лечебных свойств, а также хорошей переносимостью в терапевтических дозах. Современный уровень накопленных знаний в области антибиотикотерапии позволяет прогнозировать их широкое использование в этой области и в будущем, несмотря на резистентность многих штаммов микроорганизмов к антибиотическим препаратам. Внедрение в клиническую практику новых групп антибактериальных препаратов не решает проблему лекарственной устойчивости или ослабляет её лишь на короткое время. Кроме того, антибактериальные препараты могут оказывать токсическое действие на жизненно важные органы и подавлять нормальную микрофлору человека, что приводит к развитию дисбактериоза. В связи с этим, значимость лекарственных фитопрепаратов не ослабевает до настоящего времени. Примером таких фитопрепаратов являются препараты эвкалипта и эхинацеи, которые обладают широким спектром фармакологического действия и широко используются при лечении воспалительных заболеваний полости рта.
