Аннотация:
В обзоре представлены основные этапы исторического развития и современные представления концепции НЭО, рассмотрены наиболее часто применяемые термины и классификации. Описаны различные клинические симптомы и синдромы, связанные с гиперпродукцией биологически активных веществ. Охарактеризованы наиболее важные биохимические маркеры НЭО и дана оценка их клинического значения. Уделено внимание аналогам соматостатина в лечении функционирующих опухолей.
