Significant aggravation of information counteraction causes increasing attention to the channels of information leakage through side electromagnetic radiation and leads. Often these channels are formed by means of random antennas located in close proximity to technical means of information processing. The role of random antennas can be played by auxiliary technical means, power lines, grounding and signaling, structural elements of buildings and engineering systems. Determining their parameters is difficult in most cases.
The aim of the work is to consider approaches to assessing the energy parameters of random antennas that affect the level of dangerous informative signals outside the controlled area of the protected object.
Computational and experimental methods for determining the energy characteristics of random antennas have been given. The conditions affecting their functioning in the modes of reception and emission of electromagnetic waves have been considered.
The parameters of random antennas have been analyzed. The obtained relations make it possible to solve the problems of evaluating the effectiveness of the measures taken to protect information.
