Abstract:

It has been shown that under conditions of reception of a two-beam electromagnetic field by a short-spaced radio direction finder with a four-element equidistant ring antenna array of non-directional antennas, with the analytical method of separating radio beams, it becomes necessary to eliminate the ambiguity of solving the systems of equations describing the relationship between the measured and desired parameters of the two-beam electromagnetic field. The algorithm for analytical separation of radio beams of a two-beam electromagnetic field by a short-spaced radio direction finder with a four-element equidistant ring antenna array of nondirectional antennas has been substantiated. Direction finding functions have been obtained that allow, when received by a short-spaced radio direction finder, to obtain unambiguous estimates of radio bearings and elevation angles of two radio beams. A substantiated algorithm for single-valued analytical separation of radio beams can be used in the construction of "multi-signal" radio direction finders, which are subject to increased speed requirements.
