The dependences of the complex directional pattern of the loop antenna on the parameters of the aerial effect of the loop antennas have been obtained. Sign-alternating azimuthal dependences of the systematic components of structural errors of vector amplitude radio direction finders with a combined loop-dipole antenna array and the formation of a direction finding function by the Watson– Watt method on the parameters of the aerial effect of loop antennas have been substantiated. It has been shown that the maximum of radio direction finding errors with the aerial effect of loop antennas with a phase component exceed 1,4 times the maximum of radio direction finding errors with the antenna effect of loop antennas with a non-phase component.
