Abstract:

Results of research of antenna array with waveguide splitting have been represented. The waveguide distribution system under analysis has been made in a form of a group of coupling unit lines that are connected in series. The units are cross-shaped. Theoretical justification and experimental validation of the device efficiency and the amplitude distribution function of the lines separately, as well as the waveguide splitting system as a whole have been shown.

Operation aspects of the system with reflection and transmission phase shifters have been discussed. Experiments evidence that the antenna with waveguide splitting realizes high level of performance (0,8 and more). The obtained results have been enforced by the antenna power gain measurement results.
