Abstract:

The development of the theory and practice of antenna systems operating simultaneously in several frequency ranges has become widespread at the present time. In addition, the use of antennas placed on non-planar structures seems promising. The features of forming of the directional properties of such antennas arising from the curvature of the surface are today a poorly studied issue. The paper considers a mathematical model of a cylindrical multiband antenna array for advanced radio engineering systems. The purpose of the article is investigation of the features of the directivity characteristics of slot emitters located on the surface of a metal cylinder.

The conducted studies allow us to optimize the solution to the problem of synthesizing the amplitude-phase distribution in the aperture of a multi-band cylindrical array, as well as to substantiate the design features of the antenna array, taking into account the frequency dependence of the parameters of the radiation pattern of the radiators on the cylinder. The developed model of a multi-band cylindrical antenna array will allow further research on the influence of the design and electrical parameters of the antenna system on its directivity characteristics and energy parameters.
