Abstract:

More and more often, in professional networks, especially in mobile radio and UHF radio access networks, the functions of communication, information support, control, monitoring and monitoring are combined based on the integration of the corresponding services (telephone, telecode, fax, multimedia and others), which requires the flexible use of the allocated frequency resource, the use of multi-frequency (multi-band) multi-service solutions, etc. Successful implementation of these requirements requires the development of appropriate innovative solutions in various fields of radio engineering and related fields, including in the field of antenna technology and antenna-feeder devices.

Thus, analysis of the main trends and promising solutions in the field of antennas of professional mobile and HF radio communication has been carried out in the article.

The solutions for creation of broadband antennas for base stations of mobile radio (including ones on the basis of log-periodic aerial antennas, fractal structures and mixed polarization radiators), radiating systems for integrated access points (including the radiators, integrated into parts of the interior, exterior and urban infrastructure), broadband and multiband antennas of terminal devices, receiving and transmitting active antenna arrays in the HF range, antennas based on metamaterials have been analyzed and systematized.

Examples of implementation of antennas and antenna systems have been given. The article is of interest for developers of radio communication equipment.
