The article considers the self-consistent electrodynamic problem of radiation. Self-consistency in this case consists in taking into account the reverse effect of the radiation field on the radiation source itself: the radiation fields are represented through unknown fields on the radiation surface, then the expressions obtained are substituted into the boundary conditions on this surface. The result is a system of homogeneous Fredholm integral equations of the second kind with respect to the fields on the radiating surface. The urgency of the problem is connected with the fact that its eigenfunctions can be used as the basis of the inverse antenna problem. Taking into account the reverse effect of the radiation field allows you to find its strict solution.
In the article we have presented the result of solving the self-consistent problem of radiation from a circular aperture in the infinite perfectly conducting screen. The problem is solved for the case of a symmetric radiation field, when there is no dependence on the azimuthal coordinate. Algebraization of integral equations has been performed by the method of collocations. Good convergence of the calculation results obtained using this method has been demonstrated.
