Abstract:

The method of formation of the direction-finding characteristics under the conditions of a priori uncertainty of electrical parameters of the Earth’s surface in the reflection region in the elevation plane using an equidistant three-element antenna array consisting of vertical vibrators is considered. The results of calculation of methodical and random errors of radio direction finding in the elevation plane, caused by the frequency dependence of antenna radiation patterns, the influence of the internal noise of radio direction finder and the influence of the underlying surface are shown.
