Abstract:

Regularity of origination of side lobes of the two-dimensional directivity pattern of flat ring arrays is observed at their phasing on a maximum of coefficient of amplification in set a two-dimensional direction. The existing engineering design procedure of a maximum level of side lobes in the set range of relations of radius of a lattice to length of an accepted or radiated radio wave an azimuthal plane is passed round to a case of a nonzero angle of elevation. The gained results are applicable not only to ring, but also to any flat arrays possessing an axial symmetry.
