Possibility of the volumetric-modular technology using for implementation of antenna beam synthesizer of RF and microwave ranges has been shown. Detailed description of the basic principles and features of construction of elements of the beam former with the use of volumetric-modular technology has been given. The method of calculation and the stages of designing of such devices have been described. The ability to use modern computer aided design CST Microwave Studio for calculation of electromagnetic characteristics of a volumetric-modular device has been demonstrated. Comparison of the electric characteristics and the dimensions and mass characteristics of volumetric-modular design and conventional (planar) one has been provided on the example of the amplitudephase converter.
