A new approach for synthesis and optimization of characteristics of the frequency-dividing devices has been proposed. A new algorithm based on the method of partial areas and the method of agreed solution for the calculation of periodic waveguide structures has been described. Calculation of the bandpass filter based on a rectangular waveguide has been made.
