Abstract:

The article discusses the problems that arise when creating compact HF-band circular antenna arrays. It has been shown that there are resonances which impede operation of such antenna arrays. Ways to overcome these resonance effects have been considered. The circular antenna array based on a full-sized shunt biconical radiator has been synthesized using design method developed by the author. Results of calculations of electrodynamic characteristics of antenna array have been given.
