Abstract:

The two-dimensional numerical model of a local piece of metal grating has been built for mathematical modeling of microwave and terahertz radiation scattering on the one-dimensional periodic structures. Influence of sizes of grating with stepped cross section shaped lamels on its transmission characteristics for the case of the E-polarized plane electromagnetic wave incidence has been determined. Comparison analysis of mesh structures with stepped and rectangular lamels has been carried out.
