Abstract:

The article is devoted to the study of the dependencies of the structure and parameters of terrestrial electromagnetic waves on the radiolocation sources of different polarizations on the mutual location of radiation points, reception and a flat earth surface. Relations are obtained for the complex amplitudes of the complex vector of the intensity of the two-beam electric (magnetic) field of terrestrial radio waves of arbitrary polarization for different mutual locations of radiation points, reception, and a flat terrestrial surface. The resulting relationships describing the structure and parameters of terrestrial electromagnetic waves can be used to substantiate the structures of the direction finding antenna arrays, the methods for determining the direction-finding characteristics, and the analysis of the achievable accuracy of radio direction finding under conditions of the influence of the earth's surface.
