Abstract:

A comparative analysis of different forms of recording the radiation pattern for single-ring phased equidistant phased array antennas was carried out by means of a reexpansion with respect to the Bessel functions of integer index. Simplified expressions for the radiation pattern in the case of two-ring arrays with an old number of antennas on each ring are obtained. Non decreasing of the maximum level of the side lobes with increasing frequency of the received signal is proved, which involves a stepped pattern of the dependence of this parameter on the frequency.
