Abstract:

The article proposes the increased angular resolution method through use of coherent signals in adjacent angular directions. The method is based on the set of the directional characteristics at different wavelengths of sounding signal with regard to signals coherence received from targets in limits of angular directions formation of each directional characteristic. The target resolution possibility is determined by the type of obtained directional characteristics. The wavelength selection for sounding is provided depending on targets ranges difference and correlated with directional characteristic type dependence on joint effect of difference of initial phases of received signals and angular distance between targets. The practice-oriented example of the method implementation has been examined. The estimation of received signals phase distortion influence on targets resolution has been fulfilled.
