Abstract:
A review of scientific areas and the main results of research conducted by the staff of the Department of antennas and radio trans-mitters, Southern Federal University. A brief history of the origin and formation of the scientific school of Applied Electromagnetics in the city of Taganrog. The main directions of research on solving the problems of Applied Electromagnetics, directed at creating new types of antenna systems and reflectors. Examples of solving a number of problems are presented.
