Rigorous calculation of characteristics of a circular waveguide with imperfectly conducting walls

Abstract:
A round waveguide with imperfectly conducting shielding surface is considered. The rigorous solution of the boundary electrodynamic problem by the method of partial regions is obtained. The screen of the waveguide represents the region which dielectric constant equals to the complex permittivity of the material of the screen. Results of eigen waves characteristics calculations of a round waveguide with imperfectly conducting bounding surfaces are presented. The errors of the approximate methods of calculation are estimated.
