Abstract:
At the present stage of development of satellite TV systems it-s necessary to improve the design and technical characteristics of the transmission and reception TV antennas. Continuous increase in the informational television channel capacity also contributes to the modernization of antennas used in satellite television systems. One of the most important requirements for the antennas is their compact size and small weight. Widespread parabolic dish antennas with a mechanical or electromechanical scanning require using bulky rotary devices and have considerable longitudinal dimensions, as well as are sensitive to precipitation. Therefore, a promising direction is development of antenna arrays for satellite television.
The article describes the various design implementation of satellite TV receiver systems. The variants of construction and methods of analysis of the reflective antenna arrays have been given. The designs of antenna arrays, made using printed technology and electro-forming technology have been presented. The constructions of phased array antennas and active phased array antenna mounted on mobile objects have been considered.
