Abstract:
One of the ways of detecting small aerial objects with reduced radar visibility, operating near the radar station is the transition from using of a monostatic system to a bistatic radar system with space diversity of a transmitter and receiver. The authors have assessed the possibility of receiving part (radiotechnical control tools of serial production) of the bistatic radar system to detect small aerial objects and have established the frequency-spatial patterns of the radar stations signals reflected from small aerial objects. The obtained results demonstrate the principal possibility to detect small aerial objects by means of radio monitoring tools at the expense of the receiving and processing of the echoes of ground-based radar stations.
