Abstract:
A mathematical model of coaxial ceramic resonator (CCR) experimental model taking into account peculiarities of its manufacturing by machining a ceramic work piece is proposed. Topicality of creating such model is caused by ceramic work piece fabrication method peculiarities as after metallization its surfaces become internal and external CCR conductors. The surface roughness was considered as sequence of circular grooves being perpendicular to CCR axis. The rations for defining additional losses in the metal caused by them were obtained. Dependence of CCR Q factor on the depth and repetition of conducting surface roughness grooves was studied. Experimental test of CCR samples manufactured of TL/0 ceramic material confirmed the accuracy of the developed resonator mathematical model.
