Abstract:
Comparative analysis of adaptability of mirror antenna, phased antenna arrays and multi-beam antenna to use as an antenna device in global communications satellite system is described.
Following the results of analysis, usage of multi-beam antenna made by system of large aperture radiating elements based on lens antennas was suggested.
Results of electrodynamics modeling for large aperture multi-beam radiating element's specification (pattern, antenna's gain relief and antenna gain as a function of frequency), possible multi-beam antenna's block schemes and their constructions are listed.
