Influence of bit depth of digital phase shift modules in array antenna of airborne radar on the efficiency of antenna pattern nulls synthesising with method of phase-s syntheses

Abstract:
At present, onboard radars are the main information sources of the fighters in air combat. For efficient onboard radar neutralization, a few jammers can be used at the same time, which have different type and arrangement. In these circumstances, efficient counter-measure is jammer's spatial rejection with array antenna. Otherwise, modern array antenna's phase shifters have a limited capacity of phase states. Digital phase shifter's capacity is studied in this article focusing to the depth and the precision of synthesis of nulls with phase's synthesis method in antenna's pattern for the case of multiple jammers.
