Matching of aperture antennas and antenna arrays in circumstances of environmental variability

Abstract:
Matching method of adaptive shifting a dielectric plate between the aperture antenna and radome is considered applying to the case of surrounding environmental electromagnetic parameters change. This method can be used in technological facilities of microwave drying of friable materials or separation of water-oil emulsions and for high-speed aircrafts\' antennas matching as well, because at certain stages of their flight a plasma layer arrives with variable characteristics. Numerical simulation of different situations had indicated significant influence of plate\'s initial position on achievable matching quality.
