Investigation of temperature conditions of contact control and power supply interface of radar station

Abstract:
The results of temperature conditions study are presented for radar contact control and power supply interface, based on rotating ring of conductive and static contact units. Material properties of contact interfaces are discussed. Mathematical relations are given for the maximum temperature reached at a certain point in case of temperature does not exceed the specified value. Results of comparison of calculated and experimental data are presented for sliding contact unit. The results of tests for the collector unit contact resistance are shown.
