Abstract:
The design issues of power supply and control interface of transmitter-receiver apparatus for radar station for transmitting control signals and electric power between stationary and rotating parts of the antenna are presented. The aspects of embodiment of the contact pairs (rotating rings and stationary contacts), depending on the temperature level of currents, voltages and transient resistance with noise parameters are considered. A sample of choice of design and materials of contact pairs is shown, considering operating conditions, results of investigations of temperature distribution in contacts for the given parameters of signals. In particular, the study shows the temperature field of a rotating ring and to determine the sliding contact resistance, and an example calculation of contact resistance and its comparison with experimental data.
