Wideband printed symmetrical dipole antenna of UHF frequency range

Abstract:
The broad-band planar dipole antenna in printing modification is developed. The ratio of the antenna operating range of frequencies iis 3,4 on linear polarization. In an operating range of frequencies VSWR less than 2, H-plane half-power beam width not less than 149о,
E-plane half-power beam width not less than 72о.
The antenna is performed as metallized coating on dielectric FLAN-2,8 2 mm thickness.
Usage of short circuited shunts allows increasing operating bandwidth up to 1,5. It provides matching input impedance on lower frequencies with VSWR less than 2. Usage of field-bounded loads allows increasing operating bandwidth up to 3,4. It provides matching input impedance on upper frequencies with VSWR less than 2.
Possibility of usage of the designed antenna for making of the linear antenna arrays which also can be used as devices of antenna arrays is demonstrated.
