Abstract:
A method for upgrading existing receiving antennas are (is) considered, which can improve their performance in terms of matching the noise, reduce the number of expensive components and eliminate the high-altitude work in servicing the antenna. Main advantage of the proposed upgrade is preserving the existing structure of the antenna and possibility of upgrading without stopping the entire antenna - in turn turning off those "vertical axis", which is currently being upgraded.
