Abstract:
Calculated and experimental results for the millimeter-wave two-layer printed reflectarray antenna with special beam form radiation pattern are presented. The design procedure includes several steps. At first, the phase synthesis problem is solved, then the phase distribution found is realized by choosing individual sizes of printed square patches,. In order to obtain the dependence of the scattered field phase shift from the size of the patch the spectral domain Green-s function method is used. Several versions of the reflectarray antennas were considered at the design stage: one-layer, two-layer and three-layer performance and funally the two-layer antenna was chosen. The experimental data for the produced with RO4003 laminate sample of the millimeter-wave printed reflectarray antenna are given.
