Abstract:
For the purposes of the effective suppression of electromagnetic radiation in the direction of the ground plane, considerable interest is the use of a semi-transparent ground planes. Semi-transparent ground plane for an antenna - the ground plane of finite dimensions, which are not simultaneously equal to zero reflectance and transmittance of the incident electromagnetic wave at the ground plane. In the literature semi-transparent ground planes with capacitive and resistive impedance was considered. In this article the two-dimensional problem of excitation of a semi-transparent ground plane with an inductive impedance extraneous sources of two types - two separated from the center of the ground plane filament of magnetic current, and two half-wave electric dipole, elevated above the ground plane. The problem of determining the unknown electric current screen is solved by numerical solution of the integral equation method of moments. Filament of magnetic current model printed radiator, half-wave electric vibrators are a model of three-dimensional plate antennas. This allows the formulation of the problem with sufficient accuracy to determine the directional pattern of the printed volume of the radiator, or a plate antenna with a semi-transparent ground plane in the E-plane. The problem of determining the radiation pattern of ground plane structure with the antenna in the H-plane is possible by replacing the filament of magnetic current filaments of electric current, or replacement of electric vibrators by magnetic. The semi-transparent ground plane with a uniform distribution of the inductive impedance of the surface is studied. Formulas for calculating the current screen and the pattern are given. Investigated the current and radiation pattern of the semi-transparent ground plane for different values of the amplitude and phase of impedance.
