Abstract:
Earlier an opportunity of letters - number-s decrease and essential raise of sensitivity in high-frequency functioning area of direction finding antenna system built on the symmetric electric dipoles basis, powering by exponential-extending slot lines, is shown with use of numerical electrodynamic modelling by authors of present paper.
In present paper the experimental researches - results of circular direction finding antenna system consisting of hybrid elements, representing superbroadband symmetric electric dipoles, powering by extending slot lines having an essential radiant loss on frequencies higher then 300 MHz, are considered. The elements of an antenna array, manufactured of an aluminium alloy and fixed with fluoroplastic plates, are characterized by the following sizes: length - 465 mm; maximum slot opening - 250 mm; length of the symmetric dipole - 640 mm.
At execution researches two main purposes were chased: to find out minimal requirements to lapses of amplitudes and phases measurements of signals on exits of the elements, necessary for radio-frequency amplifiers and the multichannel high-frequency commutator designing, and also - the two-channel reception device; to confirm an opportunity of the radio-frequency radiation sources - univocal resolution in a frequency band from 25 up to 3000 MHz, shown with desing way, at modeling of direction finding antenna system, consisting of superbroadband hybrid directed elements.
It is shown, that by resolving ability in low-frequency area of a researched frequency range from 25 up to 3000 MHz, the antenna array consisting of hybrid antenna elements, does not yield to traditionally used antenna arrays consisting of thin symmetric electric dipoles. Thus it allows to essentially increase the radiodirection finding complexes - sensitivity at the expense of directed properties of its elements, is especial - in high-frequency area of its functioning; another, its above mentioned advantage is the opportunity of the antenna system-s altitude-s essential decrease due to decrease of its letters - number.
It is shown, that at root-mean-square deviation of oscillation-s amplitudes - measurements, equal 1 dB, and root-mean-square deviation of oscillation-s phases - measurements, equal 30, the maximum lapses of bearing measurement in a frequency band from 25 up to 90 MHz do not exceed 3...5°, and in a frequency band from 90 up to 3000 MHz - 1...2°.
The experimental researches - results of direction finding antenna system, consisting of superbroadband hybrid directed elements, not having the phase center, shown an opportunity of the radio-frequency radiation sources - univocal resolution in a frequency band from 25 up to 3000 MHz at use of the basic oscillations - source received in the experimental way, are given.
