The dipole antenna with periodically included reactive loads synthesi

Abstract:
Solution of the task of dipole antenna with periodically included reactive loads for the predetermined field structure with the usage of impedance boundary conditions synthesis made possible to determine the law of reactive loads evolution and a relief along the antenna length. Finally this has allowed to carry out the conversion of the power supply wave which has been generated in antenna power supply points to the energy of the emission wave, extending perpendicularly to antenna axes. The predescribed mode existence can be registered by traveling current wave presence in the antenna power supply points, that leads to Q - factor lowering and broadband increasing of thin dipole antennas.
The results of experimental verification showed that the antennae under consideration calculated by synthesis method possess, as well as the know tonal antennae [3], considerable broadband both in input characteristics and in directional diagram. But unlike it is with the know antennae, in the antennae suggested the law of current distribution in a dipole is not quickly falling to the antenna edge.This factor provides the synthesized antennae with effective length increase and expands their practical application.
