Dipole Array-s Properties with Circular Polarization

Abstract:
A usable numerical method is based on application of a Poklington integral equation for thin - wired antenna structures and a piecewise - sinusoidal approximation of current on conductors. Finite arrays properties have been investigated on the basis of crossed dipoles with straight and inclined arms. The array is placed on a planar perfectly conducting screen. It is set out relation of directed pattern, polarized characteristics and directivity of the array in a sector of scan angles when changing the number of radiators, spacing between them and when turning dipole-s the planes location in linear and planar arrays. Center element pattern-s behavior (rest elements are connected to matched loads) is investigated.
