The article considers the problem of forming the technological portfolio of an enterprise as a special case of project portfolio management. The authors substantiate the need for a systematic approach to the selection and structuring of technological solutions, considering interconnections, innovation, the form of legal protection and the potential for commercialization. A comparative analysis of more than 1,400 English-language scientific publications was carried out, which made it possible to identify modern research directions in the field of portfolio management. Based on the analysis, existing methods and models are systematized: from scoring methods and mathematical programming to simulation models and the theory of real options. The classification of approaches according to the degree of formalization and practical applicability is proposed. It is shown that none of the methods is universal, and the choice of approach should be based on the specifics of the tasks and the characteristics of the available information. The research results can be used to develop expert management systems for technological development that enhance the validity and adaptability of management decisions in the face of uncertainty and resource constraints.
