Scientific and technological development acts as a key factor of national competitiveness. Innovative breakthrough results of scientific and technological projects have a direct impact on the scientific and technological complex. The high variability and riskiness of the environment in which these projects are implemented, as well as the lack of a quantitative assessment of the level of project readiness at the moment, creates the need to develop project monitoring tools.
The purpose of the paper is to develop a toolset for monitoring scientific and technological projects based on a modified concept of technology readiness level.
The obtained results are to increase the efficiency of management of scientific and technological projects. A distinctive feature of the developed toolkit is the use of the concept of assessing readiness levels, which helps to build a quantitative assessment.
The practical use of the developed tools will allow the decision-maker within the framework of project management to develop timely corrective decisions, identify gaps in the innovation cycle chains at the project readiness levels, identify bottlenecks affecting the final assessment of the entire project.
